Help for Depression & Anxiety

Depression is a mental health condition that can cause one to feel hopeless, isolation, loss of interest in hobbies, difficulty falling and staying asleep, anger, difficulty functioning in relationships causing an impairment in daily functioning. Unable to get out of bed for work, chronic tardiness to school or work, poor work and/or school performance, difficulty making decisions. More chronic and persistent depression can lead to thoughts of suicide and life crisis.

Anxiety

Individual who suffer from anxiety experience excessive worry, fear feelings of impending doom, irritability, poor concentration, racing and/or unwanted thoughts.

Both disorders can be treated with various therapeutic methods, and treatments plans are tailored according to clients level of motivation and depending on the severity of depression or anxiety. Examples of treatment are Brainspotting, mindfulness, motivation interviewing, cognitive behavioral, talk therapy, yoga, Tai Chai, meditation, exercise, and proper nutrition.
